Family 101: Family Missions Week in Alaska
How would you like to go together as a family on a missions trip to Alaska this coming summer?
During Family Missions Week 2010, SEND North is offering a new opportunity for you and your family to experience missions together by completing a missions service project, learning about missions in the North, and getting to know other families from Canada and the USA. (This opportunity is open to singles, couples, mothers and daughters, fathers and sons and families.)
Do you have the gift of hospitality? Do you love to serve others? Summer is the busiest time of year for our SEND North field. We have a great need for a Guesthouse Manager in Anchorage, Alaska from the 2nd week of June through mid September. Airport runs, purchasing and expediting goods to our field missionaries and making guests feel welcome are among the activities you would be doing.

Radio - KVRM Native Christian Radio - Alaska
Northern Light Network, a part of SEND North, is looking for short term and long term radio workers for a new ministry in Alaska. We need people with experience in: program production & editing, news gathering, music director, and IT & sound engineers. We are looking for people with a heart for ministry to Native Alaskans.
We are looking for college students who can teach English while having a love for Youth and want to see them come to Christ. Join our China team in a Youth Camp Ministry. It will stretch your faith, your stamina and your endurance. Camp Dates: July 21, 2010 to August 8, 2010.

Camping, Outreach & Evangelism - Japan
Do you love to work with children? Are you able to give your testimony and lead a Bible discussion group with kids? Come and join the staff of Okutama Bible Chalet, just outside of Tokyo. At camp this summer, you will be able to assist in teaching English, take videos and photos for the camp, do some administration work and just help, wherever you are needed.
This ministry opportunity runs for three months, from the end of May through the end of August.

Short Term TESL Teacher - Japan
Do you have a TESL certificate? Several churches in Japan with whom SEND works, would like to have qualified native English speakers come and help them teach English classes as an outreach of the local church. Summer Worker - Philippines
Join our team to work with people in a creative access situation. You can be involved in many different opportunites: tutor basic English grammar, oral English and Algebra, help university students with research projects, assist in a summer camp for kindergarteners, offer literacy programs, teach sewing as a cottage industry, help develop home organic gardens, train people in basic medical care. Opportunities to share the Gospel abound in these types of situations.

Youth Worker - Spain
Whatever you are studying in college, be it Language Arts, Bible/Ministry, Education, etc. the SEND Spain field can put your studies into practice. We work together as a team, to meet the needs of young people in Spain whether it is through the local church, English or MK ministries. This coming summer we will be involved in MK mentoring and tutoring, English workshops, English camp, one-on-one English coaching, Bible studies, food and clothing distribution, youth ministry and kids clubs.

Youth Worker - Ukraine
Summer in Ukraine is the time for the children and youth to leave the city for the fresh air of the village. Ukrainian trained DVBS leaders have requested summer workers to assit them in their camping programs. TESL is especially attravtive to children and youth. Come prepared to teach beginning English, conversational English, help with sports, games, crafts and Bible lessons. Help these Ukrainians to reach these young people with the Gospel message.

TELA Youth Ministry - Western Russia
As someone with youth ministry experience, you will assist the young people and staff of the Russian ministry TELA in reaching out to teens by putting on "rallies", special events held in school yards and parks. You will be involved with sports events, games, music, conversational English, skits and share your testimony. From relationships you build at these outreach events, you will invite kids to summer camp. There, you will continue to build relationships with these youth, help out with all of the activities and introduce some to Jesus Christ.
