Caleb Resources > Caleb Resources has a large selection of missions training material for churches, bible stutdy groups and families. There are fun books to read as a family, so you can learn about different people groups. There are bible study lessons for your small group and missions lessons for every secment of the church family.
CrossTraining Global > CrossTraining Global is an eight month Missionary apprenticeship program. Participants receive training and practical experience in an urban setting in either Calgary or Toronto. Then they are sent overseas to participate in an exciting cross-cultural ministry. Jesus To The Nations (Halifax) > You will want to attend the 2009 Jesus to the Nations Missions Conference in Halifax! If you live in Atlantic Canada, you won't want to miss these exciting days. Enjoy a time of Worship and Praise all three days and be inspired by two great speakers: Dr. Joseph D'souza, International President of the Dalit Freedom Network and President of the All India Christian Council, and Ron Pearce, Executive Director of Empower Ministries. Mission Fest Alberta (Edmonton) > This year, Missions Fest Alberta is celebrating their 15th year of ministry by putting together an outstanding program! There will be seminars on Friday for Church Leaders, Life Achievers and Women. On Saturday, for those of you who are in business, you will want to attend the Business Track - Marketplace Connection. There will be special programs for children, youth and young adults as well as over 170 missions' booths to visit. Special speakers this year will be Bruce Olson and Ken & Jerilyn Bayer. Missionfest Manitoba (Winnipeg) > Do you live in Manitoba? Do you want to be up-to-date on what God is doing in missions? Special speakers this year will be Operation Mobilizations Georger Verwer, noted author Paul Borthwick, and columnist Lorna Dueck. Missionfest Toronto > There are three days you want to mark on your calendar: April 16 - April 18, 2009. This is when Missionfest Toronto will be underway at the International Centre in Toronto. Special speakers like James MacDonald, Mary Audrey Raycroft, Dr. Tony Campolo and many others will be challenging you to find your place in missions. There will be special missions seminars, a women's forum, and programs for the youth and young adults. There will be hundreds of mission displays where you can talk to missionaries about what is on your heart. Look at the website for further information. Missions Fest Vancouver >
Are you a BC Lower Mainlander who has an interest in missions? If so, you will want to attend Missions Fest Vancouver, coming up January 30 – February 1, 2009 at the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre. Featured speakers will be pastor and author Mark Buchanan, author Tony Compolo, International President of the Dalit Freedom Network Joseph D’Souza, missionary Marie Ens, and youth speaker Mike Yankoski. Missions Globales (Montreal) > If you are from Quebec and missions is on your heart, you will want to attend Missions Globales 2008 being held this year at College Jean-de-Brebeuf.
